INTRODUCTION POST.

                                                 INTRODUCTION TO MY COURSE

I am currently in IYZ- computing at Demontfort University, Leicester. DMU as seen on the internet lives up to its name in the aspect of teaching and extracurricular activities, I chose DMU because it is a perfect place in the perfect city for me to adapt rapidly and still flourish with my education. Also, I would get the opportunity to opt for placement, and I will have the opportunity to work with oracle which Demontfort is associated with. After my study at DMU, I intend to use the Knowledge acquired from software engineering and blend it with my medical knowledge to invent things that help both in the medical and programming world. Here is a list of modules I would be studying at DMU until 2026. After my IYZ I would be studying Software Engineering (BSc) at DMU.

FIRST-YEAR;

Block 1: Database Design and Implementation

Block 2: Fundamental Concepts of Computer Science

Block 3: Computer Programming

Block 4: Operating Systems and Networks.

All courses under this year are Mandatory

SECOND YEAR ;

Block 1: Object-Oriented Design and Development

Block 2: Data Structures and Algorithms

Block 3: Web Application Development

Block 4: Software Engineering Team Project.

All the courses this year are mandatory.

THIRD YEAR;

Block 1: Software Development: Methods and Standards

Block 2: Mobile App Development and Big Data

Block 3 / 4: Development Project;

  • Block 3 / 4: Embedded systems and iot.
  • Block 3 / 4: Advanced Web Development.
  • Block 3/ 4: Functional programming
Courses under block 1&2 are mandatory, while I will pick Two out of Three courses in blocks 3/4. I am interested in all the courses, although I would love to venture into embedded systems and iot and functional programming.

In 10 years, I see myself working alongside notable engineers working on problems having to do with world problems and implementing my knowledge and experience acquired from DMU to make an impact on the world.
